The Cosmesti project will consist of a concrete barrage 21.5 meters high, a hydro power plant of 37.8 MW, digs on the two shores and a 110 kv electric line.

According to Hidroelectrica information, the power plant will generate some 130.1 GWh/year. The works started today and are estimated to be finalized in three and a half years.
