Drumul Lung spre Cimitirul Vesel (The Long road to Happy Cemetry), a festival dedicated to exploring old Romanian traditions through music, dance and traditional crafts, kicks off today. Besides offering a glimpse into Romanian traditions from the Maramures region, the event will showcase traditional Romanian and Irish music. Irish and Romanian musicians Shaun Davey and Grigore Lese will participate in the event, with separate and joint concerts. The festival is on until August 16.
