BRAT: Over 5.9 million Romanians use the internet every day

In Romania, 5.9 million people are using the internet every day in a context of an upward trend, according to the most recent Survey of Internet Audience and TRaffic (SATI), carried out by the Romanian Cross-Media Auditing Bureau (BRAT).

The SATI measurements were carried out between December 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014, and were conveyed to BRAT members on May 13.

Romanians are not as interested as they used to be in reading the news or information about cars and sports. However, the online game and entertainment area is gaining momentum.

There has also been a decline in the intention to purchase mobile phones and mobile telephony services, TV cable, insurances and loans.

On the other hand, Romanians are more and more interested in buying tourism packages online.
