The French actress Isabelle Huppert will return to Bucharest in 2011, in a production of A Streetcar Named Desire, according to Mediafax. The actress has already visited Bucharest in May this year to teach a masterclass and to attend the opening of a photography exhibition featuring over 100 portraits of her. Next year, Huppert is expected to star in a theatre production based on Tennessee Williams’s “A Streetcar Named Desire”, by the Théâtre de l’Odéon in Paris. The play is an experimental performance, signed by Polish director Krzysztof Warlikowsky, and Huppert will play the part of Blanche Dubois.
