CFR Marfa’s general manager quits after 1 month on the job

Dan Valentin Belcea, general manager for CFR Marfa, handed in his resignation on Tuesday, a little over a month after he was named at the head of the state transporter.

“The resignation was handed in on Tuesday morning, mister Belcea invoking personal reasons”, according to representatives from the Ministry of Transport.

The CFR Marfa board will reunite in the near future to name a new manager.

CFR Marfa announced on April 11 that Dan Valentin Belcea would take over managing duties at CFR Marfa. Prior to his promotion, Belcea had been a member of the Board.
