Demand for consumer loans considerably decreased in Q3/2010 aa‚¬a€œ BNR survey

The demand for consumer loans considerably decreased, while non-financial companies’ demand for short-term loans slightly increased in the third quarter of 2010, reads a survey published by the National Bank of Romania. (BNR). According to the same source, for Q4/2010, banks expect a diminishing demand for all type of loans.

Companies’ risks rose in all industries, except energy sector, according to banks’ opinions. The riskiest sectors are construction and real estate. The risk perception on large companies remained unchanged.
