Tomohiro Nakashima, 38, (pictured) was appointed the new country manager of Sony Romania. As of this February he will coordinate Sony’s business in Romania, alongside the Eastern Balkans region.Nakashima is taking over from Taiju Ishikawa, who will further lead Sony’s activity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“The Romanian market is one of Sony’s priorities in the region this year and we hope that 2011 will be an auspicious yeat for the local IT&C market,” said Nakashima.
Nakashima, currently country head Eastern Balkans&Romania, Sony Central and Southeast Europe, has started his career with Sony 14 years ago. In 2003 he took over as country head for the Pakistan/ Afghanistan region and 2006 he was appointed country manager of Sony in Iran. In 2010, he was named country head for the Eastern Balkans area.
