The two pubs located on the fourth and, respectively, the roof of the Bucharest National Theater building (Teatrul National Bucuresti), will close temporarily due to repair works developed on the location. Reportedly, according to the authorities’ plans, these works may take up to 28 months. This evening, on March 18, local band Omul cu Sobolani will hold a last representationat Laptaria lui Enache before the location reopens.
Besides the building’s consolidation, the new façade of the National Theater (in picture) will take the shape of Romanian playwright Ion Luca Caragiale’s hat, as were initial plans, dating since 1937.
