Romcab Targu-Mures, Romanian manufacturer of cables and electrical conductors has inked a one year contract worth EUR 27 million with American company Delphi Packard.
The value of the contract signed with Delphi Packard two weeks ago comes to support Romcab’s financial forecast for the current year, representing more than half of the turnover the company had set for this year.
With a 20 percent market share in the cable production sector, Romcab registered a turnover of EUR 12 million last year. For this year, company officials estimate it to be 4 times greater, given the fact that market potential this year is provisioned to increase by 13 percent compared to the previous year.
End customers using Romcab electrical wirings in the automotive industry include Aprilia, Ducatti, Suzuki, Piaggio, Renault, Fiat, Opel, Valeo etc.
