New wing for luxury pet hotel

Pluto Pet Hotel, the first luxury hotel for pets in Romania, inaugurated recently a new wing, following EUR 175,000 investment.

The hotel is part of Planeta HamHam, a compound that offers services for pets- which also includes a day care for dogs, a dog training school and a private dog training club (called HamHam United), a pet cosmetics center, pet shop and pet taxi.

The initial investment was EUR 140,000, but the facility could not cope with the demand, hence the expansion.

The entire Planeta HamHam compound covers a surface of 8,000 sqm and can accommodate at the moment 80 dogs and 20 cats, who stay in individual rooms equipped with television and webcam, also benefitting from customized menu.

There’s more: a pool for dogs is in plans.

“We wish to open the first pool dedicated only to dogs, with application for fast medical recovery as well as for training and play. WE are also working on a franchise system that should allow the replication of the successful standards and recipe of Planeta HamHam in the main cities in the country,” said Nadia Roman, general manager of Planeta HamHam.
