Robert Redeleanu has ended his term as general director of local canned food producer Scandia Food.
During his time at the company’s helm, he focused on a new strategy for growth, modernizing and restructuring the company as well as rebranding and relaunching the company’s product portfolio, according to Scandia Food. His term also included the completion of an investment of over EUR 40 million and the launch of the new production capacities built near Sibiu.
With Redeleanu as general director, Scandia Food has also focused on a more aggressive export strategy (estimated at 8 percent of the total turnover of turnover in 2011) by launching the Scandia brand in Hungary, Bulgaria and Moldova. In Romania, the company has managed to increase market share and has also launched a network of quick service restaurants.
Scandia Sibiu has rebranded into Scandia Food in 2010.
