PeliFilip law firm has announced the appointment of four new partners: Alina Stancu-Birsan, Monica Iancu, Oana Albota and Catalin Alexandru. This brings the firm’s total number of parterns to nine.
Alinei Stancu-Birsan’ s main practice areas are energy & natural resources, projects & infrastructure, corporate and M&A. Her background includes experience in other areas such as banking & capital markets and privatisations. She has previously worked as associate – projects (energy and enfrastructure) at Linklaters London and associate at Linklaters Miculiti, Mihai & Asociatii SCA Bucharest.
Monica Iancu holds expertise in energy & natural resources, corporate and M&A , although her expertise includes areas such as general corporate and commercial law, privatisations, capital markets, arbitration, construction law and public procurement. Her previous professional experience includes having worked at NNDKP as associate, mergers & acquisition and energy practice.
Oana Albota has extensive experience in her main practice areas, real estate, construction and arbitration, but her background also includes work in litigation matters. Before joining the firm, she has also worked for NNDKP, Grosu&Associates, Marina Georgescu Law Office and was a legal counsel with the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Housing, the State Inspection in Constructions.
Catalin Alexandru will coordinate the firm’s dispute resolution practice. His expertise includes a wide range of disputes varying from domestic and international arbitration to tax litigation and other administrative lawsuits (including public procurements), competition cases, as well as civil and commercial litigation. He has also worked for D&B David si Baias SCA as associate lawyer.
