On the occasion of International Yoga Day, World Class Romania has prepared extensive actions to raise awareness of the health benefits of practicing Yoga. All lovers of an active and healthy lifestyle are invited on June 21 to World Class clubs in Bucharest, Brașov, Cluj, Timișoara, and Constanța, featuring a special program of body & mind workouts, stretching workshops, prizes, and many surprises. On June 22, World Class continues its efforts by offering free outdoor Yoga classes at Roaba de Cultura in Herastrau Park.

According to a recent STATISTA report (Europe Yoga Market Overview, March 2024), the yoga market in Europe is expected to grow significantly in the next four years, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.2%. This growth is driven by increased awareness of the mental and physical benefits provided by yoga. The popularity of this ancient practice continues to rise, fueled by the diversity of available yoga styles.

World Class, the leader of the health & fitness industry in Romania, launches a campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of Yoga on International Yoga Day, offering diverse yoga classes to both World Class members and those wanting to discover yoga and take a step towards a more balanced, healthier life.

The results of a study published by the National Library of Medicine USA show that yoga practices improve muscle strength and body flexibility, respiratory and cardiovascular function, aid recovery from addictions, reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, improve sleep patterns, enhance well-being, and quality of life. Demographically, there is an increase in participation from millennials and younger generations who adopt yoga to combat stress and improve their overall well-being.

“World Class instructors and their special guests from abroad, all with extensive experience in practices, methods, and the philosophy of Yoga, have prepared special training sessions where participants will learn breathing techniques, postures, and asanas designed to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and achieve physical and mental balance.

Additionally, the events prepared at numerous World Class locations will include dedicated stretching workshops organized by personal trainers, prizes, and many other surprises that will make this day a memorable experience for all,” says Horațiu Dumitrescu, Product Manager at World Class Romania.

A very large number of participants are expected at the free Yoga classes held by World Class in Bucharest and across the country. Along with the entire community, World Class will send an important message: Yoga is more than just a form of physical exercise; it is a lifestyle that promotes mental and physical health. Participating in the yoga classes offered by World Class can be an important step towards a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

The World Class events on June 21 and 22 are free and open to all, offering an opportunity to discover the benefits of yoga in a friendly and professional environment. The complete schedule can be found here: https://www.worldclass.ro/behealthy-yoga-day-21-iunie-2024/
