50 Cent to Perform in Bucharest for “Summer in the City Festival

50 Cent will headline the Summer in the City event on August 18 at Romaero, Bucharest, as part of his global “The Final Lap Tour,” which has covered 103 shows in 35 countries, with over a million tickets sold and mostly sold-out venues. The artist’s first concert in Romania was in 2006.

Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, started his music career in 1996. He released his debut album “Power of the Dollar” in 2000. Eminem discovered his 2002 song “Guess Who’s Back,” leading to a contract with Shady Records. His 2003 album “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” featured the hit “In Da Club,” earning nine platinum certifications. He followed with successful albums like “The Massacre” in 2005.

50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums globally and received numerous awards, including a Grammy and multiple Billboard Music Awards. He has also transitioned into acting, producing, and entrepreneurship, earning significant wealth through ventures like his partnership with VitaminWater. He founded the G-Unity Foundation and has authored motivational books.
