Agricultural machinery equipment dealer Biso Romania has opened a sales office in Roman on April 4 and will also expand to Timisoara on May 20, thus taking its national network to seven dealerships. The investments in the two sales offices and a third one which will be opened later this year amounts to EUR 1.7 million, Biso Romania representatives have announced. The company sells locally the entire product portfolio manufactured by mother company Biso Schrattenecker in Austria as well as other brands.
Biso Romania employs 95 people and says it has over 1,000 permanent clients. In the last 3 years, the company has invested EUR 7.5 million in the development of its headquarter in Drajna where it has its offices, a showroom, a service and spare parts divisions and also a production unit which is not yet operational. The company previously told BR that last year it has managed to grow its business by 40 percent last year and has similar expectations for 2012.
