AROBS Transilvania Software, the largest technology company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, targets a turnover of 421.3 million lei in 2023, a 40% increase compared to 2022, EBITDA of 74.2 million lei, +12% and a net profit of 45.2 million lei, a 5% appreciation compared to 2022. This year, the company aims to transfer its shares to the Main Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

“2023 represents for us, first of all, a year of consolidation by strengthening the synergies between the companies within the group so that we can fulfill our strategic objectives. Also, we are considering carrying out several operations for the next period, the most important being the transfer to the BVB Main Market. In addition, an essential element of our strategy for the coming years is the Stock Option Plan (SOP) program. We aim to motivate the teams within AROBS by involving them in the company’s success. The implementation of this program is also reflected in the financial results, but its impact is non-cash. Thus, the normalized net result, without the impact of SOP, considered for 2023 has a value of 63.4 million lei, and the normalized EBITDA amounts to 92.5 million lei. The program is based on a series of criteria and objectives that our colleagues must fulfill to receive shares under the SOP, especially objectives related to achieving significant results in the current activity. In Romania, such programs are still at an incipient level. Still, they represent a viable way through which employees, who have become shareholders and partners, can contribute directly to the development of a company,” stated Voicu Oprean, founder and CEO of AROBS.

In addition to the strategic direction regarding the motivation of AROBS teams through the SOP program, in 2023 and the following years, the company pursues the strategic objective of developing new areas of expertise with high demand in the global software services market, simultaneously with the continuous transfer of in-house knowledge to future generations of programmers and hardware specialists. Regarding the M&A strategy, in 2023, the group will continue the acquisition process of existing players operating in the same industry. This can bring added value by consolidating and expanding the areas of expertise and the geographical footprint to be covered by AROBS services and products.

Another strategic direction of the company from Cluj is carrying out research projects in areas such as IoT, transport, telematics, and business optimization, but also the launch of new innovative products and superior versions of own products for business optimization, telematics, and automotive. At the same time, AROBS aims to constantly improve the existing product portfolio by adding new modules and functionalities and testing them on the Romanian market before implementing them in other markets.

In 2022, AROBS recorded a consolidated turnover of 301 million lei, a 58% increase compared to 2021, normalized EBITDA of 72.2 million lei, a 24% increase, and a normalized net profit of 49,2 million lei, a 7% increase compared to 2021.

AROBS Transilvania Software is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of December 6, 2021. The company currently has a market capitalization of approximately 856 million lei, the most significant technology company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Based on the audited results for 2022, AROBS has a PER (Price-to-Earning Ratio) of 20.12 at the Group level and 20.75 at the individual level and a P/BV (Price/Book Value) of 3.88 at the Group level and 3.81 at the individual le
