The Events Coordinator plans and oversees all aspects of an event from the conception of the initial idea to the last detail of the event.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating BR’s events, making sure that all the elements are implemented in accordance with the concept and timeline established
- Creating the event program; coming up with the best topics and speakers through market research into partners and audience interests and business trends
- Inviting and keeping contact with all event speakers
- Establishing the date and booking the venue in accordance with the event budget and competition
- Proposing and attracting sponsors for the event alongside the sales team, making sure that all contractual terms are implemented accordingly
- Ensuring that all marketing activities are implemented in accordance with the strategy and timeline agreed on
- Proposing and Managing the event budget
- Post-event activities and other ad-hoc event duties as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with event marketing / project management / entrepreneurial projects
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized
- Self-starter with a proven track record and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects successfully with minimal guidance in a fast-paced business environment
- Solid understanding of the local business landscape
- Strong team orientation
- Proficiency in English
- Flexible, positive personality with good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
