NEPI Rockcastle will deliver Festival Shopping Center Sibiu in the fourth quarter of this year. The EUR 100 million investment will have 135 stores and a 42,200 sqm leasable area.
The South African firm acquired the land and the project in February 2018, from Primavera Development, a company owned by the Tanasoiu family, for EUR 21 million.
The new mall will have a leasable area of 42,200 square meters and be built near the railway station in Sibiu.
Among the tenants are CineGold, Inditex (Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius), H&M, New Yorker and Kaufland, all of whom are already confirmed.
Festival Sibiu will also have an 8-screen CineGold cinema as well as 1,800 parking spaces.
NEPI Rockastle will also deliver this year the 9,600 sqm extension of Shopping City Sibiu, a mall bought in 2016 from Argo. The mall has a leasable area of 79,100 square meters and is currently the only one in the city.
