French Filasa International has acquired three wind farms in Braila County, southeastern Romania, with a total installed capacity of 400 MW, through Eolenvest, the company it controls.

A 5-lawyer team from Popovici Nitu & Asociatii, led by senior partner Ernest – Virgil Popovici, acted as advisor for Eolenvest on the acquisition of Wind Energy Power Trade, Wind Energy Advance Tech and Wind Energy Strategy.

Filasa announced, last November, an investment in a 516 MW wind farm project, in Suceava County. This new acquisition makes Filasa International the largest French investor in the Romanian renewable field.
