Following complains from several women who claimed to have been stung by an unknown individual on the tram, the Bucharest police made an arrest.

The attacker, a bank clerk aged 38 years old, married and with no criminal record, was taken into custody. If found guilty, he risks 7 years of prison.

He said he did this because the women were beautiful and he wanted to draw their attention.

The investigation started after a young woman went to the police after being stung with a needle by a man in Tram 41. Later, five other women filed complaints, which led to the arrest.
