The romanian construction materials producer AdePlast will open a EUR 22 million new factory in Isalnita close to Craiova, on a land plot of 20 hectares.
The factory, which will produce mortars and polystyrene, on two separate lines, will begin polystyrene production in July and mortars production in August.
“We have invested EUR 22 million of which we spent EUR 20 million in the newest technologies EUR 2 million is the value of logistics and car fleet. We intend to extend the Isalnita platform for other industrial developments,” Daniel Stăncescu, CEO AdePlast, said.
According to AdePlast CEO, the new factory can produce at least 1,600 tons of mortars daily, and the polystyrene factory has a capacity of 700,000 cubic meters a year.
After the new factory opening, the company will create 70 jobs.
Alongside Isalnita factory, AdePlast owns and operates another three industrial platforms in Oradea, Ploiesti and Roman.
