The Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM) could go public on the Romanian Stock Exchange (BVB) in the medium term, BRM president Septmiu Stoica said on Tuesday, quoted by Agerpres.
“In the short term, it’s hard, but in the medium term, yes. It’s not up to me to decide, but we have to go to the shareholders based on a study and scenarios to talk about the advantage of an IPO. It can’t be done in the short term,” Stoica said.
BRM, founded in 1992, has more than 1.500 clients, both private and public.
