As part of events created to celebrate the Great Union Centenary, The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography in Cluj-Napoca has launched a virtual exhibition containing photographs from its archive. The photos, portraits of peasants living in Transylvania during the Great Union, were taken by museum’s ethnographers Romulus Vuia, Luiza Netoliczka, Teodor Onisor and their British collaborator Denis Galloway.
