Education Minister: over 2,000 schools in Romania have their restrooms outside

Liviu Pop, the minister for Education, wrote a post on Facebook this week saying that there are 2,418 schools in Romania which have the restroom outside the building.

He promised that the PSD-ALDE coalition would resolve the issue in the following three years.

Pop’s message read: “159 years from the Unification of Romanian Principalities we have 2,418 school units with outside restrooms. Through the PSD-ALDE governing program, in a maximum of three years, local, county and central authorities will create decent facilities for the education of school and preschool students”.
