This weekend in Bucharest: December 1 Parade 2017

With the occasion of Romanian National Day, the December 1 Parade 2017 will take place as every year at the Arch of Triumph. According to the schedule posted on Facebook, the military parade will start at 11 AM and will finish at 1 PM.

There will be police, firefighters, gendarmes and borderline police’ equipments. Moreover, the students of Police Academy “A.I.Cuza” and the students of Police Agents School “Vasile Lascar” from Campina will march in Arch of Triumph area. Besides the terrestrial equipments, there will also be aircrafts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs above the Arch of Triumph.

1 December is the Romanian National Day starting 1990. This date is important as it commemorates the day when took place the National Gathering at Alba Iulia, where was decided the unification of Transylvania with Romania.
