The National Theater Festival 2017 takes place during October 20-30. It was initiated as a project of the Bucharest Mayor Office in 1990 and during the years it has become known in Romanian and international cultural environment.
The artistic director of the festival is the theater critic Marina Constantinescu.
The producers of the festival are UNITER – Theater Union in Romania, ARCUB- Cultural Center of Bucharest Municipality, National Theater “I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest.
The project is financed by the Culture Ministry and National Identity, the Bucharest Mayor Office and the partner is the Romanian Cultural Institute.
