President Klaus Iohannis spoke in Brussels with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, during a meeting organized within the European Council.
Iohannis said he talked with Macron about the bilateral relations between the two countries.
“We discussed about collaborations, for instance, on Schengen. We talked about the collaboration we are preparing for the cultural season. We also discussed about the much debated directive on the posting of workers,” said Iohannis.
The president added that Romania aims to support the draft budget of the Euro zone that was proposed by Macron.
“We agreed to work together to enhance the European formats,” said Iohannis.
