The car and foot passenger traffic will be restricted in the center of Bucharest on Saturday August 13 for Queens Anne’s burial ceremony, says the Traffic Police. Thus, there will be traffic restrictions on Calea Victoriei, between C.A.Rosetti street, Aleea Kretzulescu, Dem.I.Dobrescu street, as well as on the streets that are linked to these, between 00.00-08.00 in the morning, according to HotNews.
Then, there will be additional restrictions between 8.00-14.00 on Victoriei square, between Victoriei square and Ion Campineanu, as well as on the streets that enter in this section, gradually depending on the participants’ number.
Also, starting 11:30, on the passing sense of burial cortege: Dem.I.Dobrescu Street- Magheru Blvd- Bd. Lascar Catargiu – Victoriei Square- Aviatorilor Blvd- Charles de Gaulle Sqaure- Prezan Blvd– Triumph Arch – Alexandru Constantinescu blvd- Ion Mihalache Blvd – Grivitei Street- Chitila Highway- D.N. 7, where it will enter Ilfov county.
Detouring routs:
-Victoriei Square- Lascar Catargiu Blvd- Romana square– Universitatii square;
– Victoriei Square- Buzesti Street- Berzei street-Vasile Parvan street- Splaiul Independentei
The body of Queen Anne was brought to Romania on Tuesday afternoon on Otopeni Airport, and then it will be brought to Peles Castle in Sinaia.
