The Guest House of Wales prince from Valea Zalanului will host on Saturday August 6, the concert SoNoRo Conac from 18:00.
The Guest House from Valea Zalanului is one of the two mansions that the UK prince Charles owns in Romania.
It was refurbished with traditional objects that respects the area style. In the period when it’s not occupied by the prince, the house is opened to the public.
The singers that will hold the concert are Ella Bokor (cello), Sabin Penea (violin) and Sandor Antal (viola), scholars of SoNoRo-Interferente. Razvan Popovici, the festival director, will join them with songs of Ludwig van Beethoven, Béla Bartók, Frank Bridge, Edward Elgar, George Enescu and György Ligeti.
SoNoRo-Interferente, the educational program from the International Festival of Chamber Music SoNoRo, offers every year a study program to the most talented young musicians under the motto “We need real musicians, not only good instrumentalists”.
The sixth edition of SoNoRo Festival will continue on September with other two concerts on the Evangelic Church from Cisnadioara, Sibiu on September 14 and on Fagaras Fortress in Fagaras county on September 15.
The access to the SoNoRo concert is based on invitation.
SoNoRo Conac started from the idea of getting the Chamber music its original space on intimate nature.
