Golin teamed up with Mercedes-Benz for the fifth consecutive year at TIFF

Golin agency has teamed up with German car maker Mercedes-Benz for the fifth consecutive year for a special campaign at the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF).

„The tradition partnership between Mercedes-Benz and TIFF reflect the way in which two brands can develop a common story with a strong engagement between the targeted publics. Therefore, this year we’ve developed along our client a script with more unique episodes that have put the accent on the congruence between the unique atmosphere offered by this event and the refined experience assured by the Mercedes-Benz limos”, said Ana Trif, senior manager, Golin.

For the 2016 edition, Golin supported again Mercedes-Benz in preparing a new series of activities that targeted more categories of public. Therefore, Mercedes-Benz offered, for the 10th consecutive year, the Official TIFF Car, this time the E Class limos being the one that carried towards the red carpet the actors and the specialists of the cinematographic industry, including the long awaited international star Sophia Loren. Also, Golin invited journalists and bloggers to experience the comfort and the innovation inside the Official Car.

Mercedes-Benz rewarded the actress Carmen Galin with the “Award of excellence” for the contribution brought to the Romanian movie, awarded every year to one important personality in the cinematographic world.

During the TIFF Awards’ Gala, Mercedes-Benz and Golin thought a unique artistic moment, in which four instrumentalists from the Cluj Philharmonic Orchestra have interpreted live a series of songs from the soundtrack of some famous movies, including the symbol song from the „Telecinemateca” TV show.

At the same time, Golin supported Mercedes-Benz in the development of the project 10 for MOVIE, in which 10 talented actors from the Romanian theaters participated in workshops, movie premiers and talks, being invited to know professionals from the cinematographic industry. The participants created a series of 10 testimonials that can be viewed on the company’s Facebook page.

The Mercedes-Benz team involved in the project comprised Mirel Dediu (Corporate PR/Communications, Marketing & PR Mercedes-Benz Cars) and Sabina Anehei (Marketing & PR Mercedes-Benz Cars).

The Golin team that worked on this project included Ana Trif (Senior Manager), Alexandra Burdulea (Senior Media Associate), Alexandra Siminiuc (Associate), Raluca Duta (Chief of the Bridge), Catalina Soare (Digital Manager) and Alin Gramescu (Junior Digital Associate).
