According to the organizers of the fair, the QS World MBA Tour will offer USD 1.2 million in scholarship funding for the selected applicants who attended the QS World MBA Tour in Bucharest.
The fair welcomed business schools from France, Germany, Belgium and the US, as well as Romanian schools such as ASEBUSS and CODECS. The international fair is organized by Quacquarelli Symonds and came to Romania for the second time. It starts from North America, goes through Europe and stops in Africa.
The results of a survey of 489 international MBA employers, featured in the 2007 TopMBA.com Recruitment and Salary Trends Report, reveal that, compared to the previous year, MBA holders' salaries have increased more rapidly than salaries for non-MBA holders with four years of work experience, and this is true across most major industry sectors and geographical locations.
The dynamic of the career and salary growth for those business people who have an MBA degree in their portfolio still looks better than for those who rely just on their work experience. Many international companies with offices in Bucharest are now making the MBA requirement a mandatory one when searching for top managers.
