Italian fashion group Mengotti opens first store in Bucharest

This is the company’s first investment abroad. The Bucharest store spreads on 750 sqm and Mengotti group, represented in Romania by the company Inter Cross, plans 3 more openings in the country in the following years. Adriano Mengotti said that he looks forward to opening a fashion store in the Lipscani area, “a neighborhood very fit for fashion stores and with a great commercial potential.” In Italy, Mengotti group runs 12 stores and for Romania, it plans sales exceeding EUR 1 million for the first operational year. Mengotti group will display and commercialize brands as Prada, Valentino, Dolce Gabanna, Versace, Georgio Armani, Fendi, Cesare Paciotii, according to the group’s officials.
