Anchor Grup transfers mall properties to newly established firms

Consequently, the three newly established firms will be Bucharest Mall Development and Management, which will take over the assets of the commercial center located in the Vitan area, Plaza Mall Development and Management, which will manage the mall on Timisoara Boulevard, and Gimrom Retail Development and Management, which will become the owner of the 83.7 percent stake held by Anchor Grup in Gimrom Holding, the manager of G'market supermarkets operating within Anchor Grup malls.
To establish the three companies Anchor Grup has been partially divided and part of the company's capital will be transferred to the three companies, according to the project published in the Official Registry (Monitorul Oficial). Following the asset evaluation, Bucharest Mall Development and Management will manage EUR 68.5 million worth of Bucharest Mall's assets, including buildings and land, while Plaza Mall Development and Management will manage EUR 85.55 million worth of Plaza Mall's assets.
