The first stage of this project took place between June 23 and July 13 and consisted of creative workshops with children organized at the Romanian Peasant Museum, the Grigore Antipa Natural History Museum and the National Geology Museum. The works done by the children were exhibited in the museums and were the starting points for the concepts that artists will propose to Bucharesters to brighten up Piata Victoriei 2 subway station.
The project is part of the Bucharest metroART program that is being rolled out within a larger initiative called I Love Bucharest which proposes to change the appearance of the bleaker buildings and public spaces in Bucharest. This artistic project will be followed over the course of next year by one that will focus on Piata Victoriei 2 subway station.
