Blues artist John Hammond performs in Bucharest

With a career of over 40 years in blues, the Grammy-winner Hammond has so far played about 10,000 concerts. He has shared the stage with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, The Band, Bill Wyman, JJ Cale, John Mayall, Michael Bloomfield, Dr. John, Koko Taylor, Charlie Musselwhite and John Lee Hooker. “The fact that we convinced Hammond to come to Bucharest has significantly raised the bar for the Blue Moods concerts in 2009, when we will definitely listen to musicians at least as prestigious,” said Ioan Big, head of design at Event Plus.
