Softelligence, a company specialized in the development and implementation of digital transformation solutions, focusing mainly on financial-banking and insurance industries, plans to continue its international operations in 2019 after having inaugurated its offices in Canada, Toronto and London, United Kingdom in the past two years.

To increase global operations, the company will need a team at least 50 percent higher than in 2018.

“In the next two years we aim to bring with us another 100-150 new colleagues to support the accelerated growth of Softelligence,” says Adrian Blidarus, CEO.

In order to prepare future employees, the company launched the Softelligence Academy, an educational program that aims to train banking and insurance specialists to support Softelligence’s fintech and insur-tech innovation. The program includes workshops and sessions that not only train new employees, but also keep current team members up to date with new technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive analysis, or data view and data warehouse development warehouse.

Softelligence Academy is due to hold a new edition early next year.

Established since 2006 by Adrian Blidarus and Teodor Blidarus, Softelligence has recently separated from FintechOS sister company so that both entities can focus on the main operations that have made them successful in recent years.

Softelligence focuses on providing complementary services to accelerate the digital development of financial, banking and insurance companies. The financial and banking experience that Softelligence has accumulated in recent years is a major competitive advantage for medium and long-term growth but also an immediate benefit to enable it to respond promptly to the dynamics of the industry in which it operates.

“Our strategic direction for the coming years is to develop digital transformation solutions and services and analyze data. At the same time, we maintain our traditional software development experience for our country and outside customers, and we continue to focus on Data & Analytics. We also remain an essential partner for FintechOS project implementation,” explains Adrian Blidarus.

After finishing the separation from FintechOS, the Softelligence team has grown significantly both on the operational and the technical side, currently reaching almost 200 specialists. If growth rises, the company will have about 400 employees in 2020.

At a geographic level, the company continues to provide digital acceleration services to customers in Romania, the CEE, UK and Canada, especially in the insurance and banking industries, both by developing operations in Canada and the UK, as well as identifying other markets with potential for expansion.

The centers from where the services will be delivered will remain in Bucharest and Craiova. The company also takes into account the identification and opening of new development centers in other cities in Romania.

Softelligence Group estimates it will complete 2018 with a consolidated turnover of over EUR 8 million. “For next year, we are aiming for an increase of more than 50 percent”, concludes Adrian Blidarus.

Softelligence is a company founded in 2006 in Bucharest, specialized in the development and implementation of digital transformation solutions, focusing mainly on financial-banking and insurance industries: cloud-based services and cloud based intelligence, Business Intelligence, data, software development and other digitization processes. Currently, the company has 4 offices in Romania, the UK and Canada, serving corporate clients globally.
