Lenovo launches new line of laptops and smartphones at MWC 2019

Lenovo moved on with it’s technology of smart transformation at MWC 2019 by launching new products for its entire portfolio, from PCs and smart devices to solutions for state-of-the-art data centers. Latest launches include the new ThinkPad, IdeaPad and IdeaCentre and new Motorola smartphones, upgradable to 5G.

Intelligent mobile technology for companies

Lenovo has released the latest ThinkPad models: T490s, T490, T590, X390 and X390 Yoga. With over 140 million units traded so far, the ThinkPad models have always focused on design and technology, enhancing end-user confidence with the highest level of security and durability, and providing a premium mobile experience. For 2019, the producer adopted the principles of intelligent connectivity that underpin our technological philosophy.

Lenovo also introduced Lenovo 14w laptops with Windows 10 and Lenovo 14e Chromebook designed to increase the productivity of employees who interact directly with customers. They are major contributors to major industries such as retail, hospitality, tourism and production, but are often left aside when it comes to allocating office computers. Lenovo announced the new ThinkVision M14 mobile display and the X1 ANC headphones to maximize collaboration flexibility in remote teams. The M14 allows mobile workers to maximize on-screen viewing space and facilitate content sharing while the X1 ANC headphones have been upgraded with Dolby professional technology to provide audio capability during voice communications and commands.

Lenovo Tab V7 – ultraportable tablet device and all-in-one smartphone

Moving users can now enjoy the possibilities offered by both types of devices with the ultra-portable Lenovo Tab V7. It combines the benefits of an Android tablet including daytime battery life, high quality sound and a massive 6.9-inch Full HD IPS display with the benefits of a smartphone that lets the user make calls, send text messages and use data anywhere – everything at an affordable price. Even before the spring arrives, Lenovo unveils a range of new IdeaPad and IdeaCentre PCs with a Windows operating system that gives students, young professionals and families more design choices and greater value for daily activities and connectivity, without affecting their budget.

Available in the 14 and 15-inch versions, and with a full aluminum housing, the new IdeaPad S540 ultra-slim laptop offers improved performance, portability and battery autonomy – allowing users to perform more on-the-go tasks. Powered by the 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU or the optional AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor with Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics, the IdeaPad S540 has more than enough power watching movies, processing written documents and making online shopping. The new model also offers battery autonomy of up to 12 hours and RapidCharge technology, allowing use for up to 2 hours with a charge of about 15 minutes.

With higher power than previous models, this ultra-slim laptop comes with the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U GPU with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 or mobile processor option up to AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon graphics card RX Vega10.

Due to the Amazon Alexa and Microsoft Cortana AI capabilities, the IdeaPad S340 is even smarter, giving users the ability to plan appointments, set reminders or manage priority lists on Cortana, but also to shop, listen news or control music and other smart devices with Alexa.

Slim and versatile for those on the move, the new 2-in-1 convertible laptop IdeaPad C340 is a close relative of the IdeaPad S540 and S340 ultra-thin laptops. The battery has an autonomy of up to 8 hours 3 and is provided with RapidCharge5 technology. Active Pen support is present on some models, allowing the user to sketch or write from anywhere. Optionally, an integrated fingerprint reader is also provided for fast and easy PC authentication.
