The leading robotic process automation (RPA) software company, UiPath, announced it has joined the Business Council of Growing Europe as a founding member to help promote Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries as an investment destination for global investors and the broad public. UiPath made this announcement, along with 11 other founding members, at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

An initiative founded by PZU Group, the largest financial institution in CEE, the long-term goal of the Business Council of Growing Europe is to improve investment opportunities and the overall business environment in the CEE region. It has brought together the largest companies from 11 countries in the region to mark the launch of the initiative. Member companies will contribute with their expertise to the partnership and develop joint activities to promote CEE. By promoting business cooperation among leaders from across CEE, the initiative also aims to further the region’s democratic and economic development.

The Business Council of Growing Europe’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed after a panel discussion on “Growing Europe: The Economic Vitality of Central and Eastern Europe”, organized by PZU with the Financial Times, Goldman Sachs, Google and the Atlantic Council at the Polish House in Davos.

UiPath’s Chief Strategy Officer, Vargha Moayed, has also joined a panel discussion on CEE Unicorns at the forefront of the European technology today, January 22 at 3:00 pm, at the Polish House in Davos. He has discussed UiPath’s success story, how the company has maintained investors’ appetite, how to scale in today’s business climate, and highlighted future technology trends.
