The Czech proptech Realpad Software, founded by Marian Skvarek in 2012, has recently entered the Romanian market. The company develops technology solutions for the real estate market and its flagship product, Realpad CRM, helps residential developers to manage the sales process in new residential developments.
The Romanian branch of Realpad Software will be run by Jakub Licak (32 years old), from the position of Business Development Manager. Jakub graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, specializing in international business and has been with the company since its inception. He has now relocated to Bucharest and is dealing with the company’s international expansion, targeting primarily Romania, Bulgaria and the Benelux countries.
“We are currently investing in international expansion as well as in the product and our goal is to become European leader in technology services for residential developers. In Romania we already have two clients and we negotiate partnerships with other Romanian and international developers. We perceive the Romanian market as very progressive and we believe that we will succeed”, says Jakub Licak, Business Development Manager of Realpad.
Realpad’s product portfolio is specifically tailored to the needs of residential developers. It supports developers in their daily schedule, thanks to end-to-end systematization, automation and digitization of the sales and after-sales process. As a result, Realpad users save on average up to 20% of their time and the software also minimizes potential mistakes as it keeps order in project and customer data.
Realpad is a digital ecosystem encompassing a cloud CRM, a sales tablet application, a customer portal, and a defect management system for the construction side.
The CRM module, the heart and brain of the ecosystem, stores and manages all contacts, inventory, transactions, and contracts in one place and it supports and manages the sales team. The tablet application is a front-end interface that enables sales teams to present projects in a well-arranged, modern, and aesthetic way. The application is connected to the CRM and it allows sales agents to automatically generate and send offers to prospective customers on the go.
The customer portal is a customer interface where the client can find all the information about the purchase including payments, contracts, and other documents. Developers also use the customer portal as a communication tool to inform their clients about construction updates, the delivery process, etc.
The defect management module is connected to the customer portal and it allows developers to fully control claimed defects, from the moment they are detected and reported by a customer until they are resolved by the general contractor. This module was also used for the digitization of the handover process in the Sky Park project in Bratislava, designed by Zaha Hadid.
Customers in Romania
In Romania, the company already has two major clients, AFI Europe, which uses Realpad solutions in all markets where it is present, and the Romanian developer Forty Management & Consulting, controlled by entrepreneur Lucian Azoiței.
“We are already negotiating with other prestigious developers to integrate sales and after-sales operations in Realpad and we intend to significantly expand our customer base in the coming months. I believe we have the most complete residential sales software and I think that Romanian developers will also notice this”, explains Jakub Licak.
The software developed by Realpad, which is constantly improving, is superior to most other solutions used by developers, which generally focus on leads, while Realpad encompasses also the full after-sales activities including customer choices, technical inspections, and unit handovers.
Through the Realpad platform, over 20 000 housing units were sold last year, and the company’s portfolio includes over 200 residential projects and 60 developers in 12 countries.
Realpad Software is also a founding member of the Czech and Slovak PropTech Association and a member of the PropTech Lab (a Belgian community of real estate innovators). At the moment, the company is co-organizing the first PropTech international event in South East Europe: PropTech Bulgaria 2020.
