Asus presented the new Zenbook series at IFA 2018 with flip case and bezelless display

Asus launches the new ZenBook series that unleashes creative power with Intel Core 8 processors. The new models are ultra-compact and innovative. While ZenBook 13/14/15 (inch) is the most compact laptops in the world with NanoEdge screen, no frame on the four sides, with the new dual touchpad and integrated numeric keypad, ZenBook Flip 13/15 (inch) is the new convertible, powerful and extremely portable laptops with NanoEdge screen, no frame on the four sides, are now 10 percent smaller.

ASUS announces the latest ultra-portable ultra-portable laptops, the ZenBook and the ZenBook Flip, at the IFA 2018 press event, a perfect opportunity to portray the entire portfolio with the latest eight-generation Intel Core processors. The new line follows ASUS’s “In Search of Incredible” spirit, with the ZenBook series being presented under the theme “Unleash Your Creative Power”.

Among the new products announced at the event are: ZenBook 13 (UX333), ZenBook 14 (UX433) and ZenBook 15 (UX533) – the most compact 13.3-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch laptops in the world1 – along with the ZenBook Flip 13 (UX362) and ZenBook Flip 15 (UX562). In addition, the ZenBook S (UX391FA), which now comes with up to 20 hours of autonomy, and the new Zen AiO 27 (Z272) all-in-one PC with a system based on it.

ZenBook 13/14/15: The Most Compact Laptops in the World

The ZenBook 13, 14 and 15 introduces the stunning ASUS NanoEdge screen with a slim frame on all four sides for a non-rival screen / body ratio of up to 95 percent and a borderless viewing experience. It is worth saying that the first manufacturer of borderless screen was Dell.

The ultra-compact design, incorporating the ErgoLift mechanism, which allows you to tilt the keyboard for more comfortable use, gives each laptop the smallest footprint in its class. ZenBook Flip 13/15: More compact than ever

ZenBook Flip 13 and 15 are convertible laptops of 13.3 and 15.6 inches, 10% smaller than the previous models, being the most compact in the world3. In this case, Lenovo was the first to came with fil laptops.

Designed to be flexible, powerful and portable, the ZenBook Flip 13 and 15 feature NanoEdge four-sided frameless screens with a 90 percent screen / body ratio that made it more compact with a single ErgoLift 360 ° hinge, which raises and tilts the keyboard for a comfortable working position. The final consideration when purchasing laptops for bloggers is the type of battery that comes with the laptop. The Zen AiO 27 also features Qi-based wireless charging integrated into the base for recharging mobile devices.

The Zen AiO 27 has a 4K UHD NanoEdge screen with a 27-inch diagonal, PANTONE-validated, 100% sRGB color coverage and Delta-E color reproduction accuracy of less than 3.0, for visual effects reality.

Prices and availability

The ASUS products listed above will be available on the local market starting with the fourth quarter of this year. The prices are not yet available, but it was said that will start from USD 899.
