ABC Data to be renamed ALSO Technology after the takeover of the Swiss tech company

Following the acquisition of ABC Data operations in Eastern Europe on July 1, the Romanian subsidiary became part of the ALSO group, the leading Swiss technology provider in Europe, with offices in 22 European countries. ALSO Technology SRL is the new name of the company in Romania. The takeover of ABC Data was the next step in executing the ALSO Group’s strategy to consolidate its position on the Eastern European market, estimated at a potential of EUR 30 billion.

The objective of ALSO for Eastern Europe is to achieve the leading position in the whole region, by reaching a market share of 20 percent. By belonging to one of the most important technology providers in Europe for the IT&C industry, ALSO Technology will now be able to significantly consolidate its entire business model in Romania. It includes optimized sales and logistics processes for IT, consumer electronics and telecommunications products. The company will have access to a wide range of products and offers, based on the optimized models of supply of products, services and solutions ALSO 3S (Supply, Services, Solutions), as well as a large portfolio of manufacturers.
