The 2012-2013 season of the Bucharest National Opera will be closing with an extraordinary concert this Sunday, June 30, from 19.00. The program consists of Concert for violin and orchestra in D Major, opus 35 by P.I Tchaikovsky, “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff, one of the best works of all time – under the wand of conductor Horia Andreescu (in picture).
Special guests include violinist Mircea Dumitrescu, one of Romania’s most talented artists, conductor Horia Andreescu, soprano Irina Ionescu – winner of the 1st Prize at the Colmenar Viejo – Madrid International Canto Contest, baritone Andreas Japel, and countertenor Vladimir Catana.
