One United Properties invests EUR 1 million in One North Gate refurbishment

One United Properties is investing EUR 1 million in a refurbishment process and new design concept for the lobby, common spaces and the courtyard for One North Gate, the business center located close to Promenada Mall.

“In addition to the new projects where the strategy is to develop communities in mixed concepts, we have a portfolio of 35,000 square meters – One North Gate and One Victoriei Center- for which we are targeting new investments to improve the product to the current standards,” said Ionut Dumitrescu, co-founder One Office, the office division of One United Properties.

The refurbishment investment targets the certification of One North Gate in the BREEAM system, aiming for “BREEAM Excellent”. The new concept for the lobby, courtyard and common spaces focuses on developing socializing and relaxing areas trough contemporary design. It is signed by Lemon Interior Design, the team known for innovative projects on luxury residential niche.

One North Gate business park is localized in one of the most dynamic office areas from Bucharest, just 2.2 km from Promenada Mall. With a GLA of 23,000 sq. m in two buildings and 504 parking units, One North Gate offers functional and efficient workplaces in a high-interest area of Bucharest. The business center will be available starting with Q3 this year.

The company was founded in 2007 by Victor Capitanu and Andrei Diaconescu. One United Properties is known for projects such as One Floreasca Lake, One Herastrau Park, One Charles de Gaulle and One Herastrau Plaza. Starting with 2017 a new division was established – One Office – which today has a portfolio of 35,000 sq. m (One North Gate business park and One Victoriei Center, the former Bucharest Corporate Center) and a pipeline of 150,000 sq. m (One Tower, part of One Floreasca City, One Cotroceni Park and One Verdi Park).
