GEFCO Romania, the local subsidiary of GEFCO, a global provider of industrial supply chains and a European leader in automotive logistics, moves its headquarters in Campus 6.1 office building, part of Campus 6 project, developed by Skanska Romania.
The surface leased by GEFCO Romania totals 680 square meters.
“GEFCO Romania has been based in the North of Bucharest since its inception, but over time this area has become very busy and access has become increasingly difficult. So the idea of moving to another part of the city was taken into account. (…) Campus 6.1 was ranked among its preferences, both in terms of location, due to the proximity of the metro, the small distance from our agency in Joita and the Polytechnic University, an area with a lot of potential for the recruitment of new talents, but also due to the facilities of which the building benefits, given that it is a “green building,” Jérôme Chevrolet, Balkan area manager and CEO of GEFCO Romania and Bulgaria states.
GEFCO Romania is present on the local market for 13 years and serves 350 clients annually. Currently, GEFCO Romania operates through six logistics points and operates the transport for over 60 percent of all finished vehicles produced in Romania.
