CTP, the largest developer and operator of premium industrial and logistics parks in Romania and in Central and Eastern Europe, announces that it successfully leased a total of 450,000 m2 in Romania in the 2019–2020 period, including to some of the most important players in key industries such as retail, e-commerce and automotive.

CTP entered the Romanian market in 2015 and quickly became an industry leader. Currently, the company owns 15 successful CTPark-branded logistics parks in Romania, with a total leaseable area of over 1,500,000 m2 of Class-A warehouses across 10 cities in the country. In just five years, CTP has become the largest developer and operator of premium industrial and logistics parks in Romania, offering high-performance logistics and manufacturing solutions to its customers.

CTP’s development and lease of 450,000 m2 of new space took place in just two years, a short time for such a large area. The company successfully attracted major tenants from diverse fields, inluding e-commerce, retail, and automotive, while simulataneously supporting existing clients with new development projects and by showing flexibility for their expansion needs on-demand.

The projects developed by CTP have proven to meet the requirements and needs of the market. The company has successfully delivered production spaces that fully comply with the customised technological processes of the tenant, as well as flexible, state-of-the-art logistics and warehouse facilities. These strengths are reflected in CTP’s current pipeline in Romania, which includes three buildings with integrated cross-dock systems and a complex, built-to-suit logistics space for a courier company. CTP’s 2020 project list in Romania also include logistics warehousing for frozen and refrigerated products, as well as regional logistics centers for general storage.

Sustainability plays a central role in CTP’s development strategy, which combines the use of new technologies with conservation to ensure reduced operating costs and a greener workplace. Each new CTP building holds high-level BREEAM certification (Very Good, Excellent and Outstanding).

CTP’s success in Romania is thanks to the constant efforts of its on-the-ground experts, including the Business Development team, which has correctly identified market requirements, and our in-house Design team and Construction managers, who work to meet those requirements with the best technical and operational solutions.

Ana Dumitrache, Country Manager of CTP Romania, comments: “When I started my sales career, I received restrictive advice on limits and sales targets: I was told that I should not exceed them, because, the following year would have come with even more ambitious targets. I am glad that, after years of experience in the field, I still have that extraordinary joy of exceeding targets and receiving even more ambitious ones for next year. With the help of an excellent product, and thanks to a team of super professionals, we have managed to win the trust of renowned customers including Maersk / IB Cargo, Profi, DSV, DB Schenker and Orange. We are convinced that they will not be disappointed by the buildings or by our team.”

Andrei Koszti, Regional Commercial Manager, explains: “Our way of operating is like a treasure hunt, only we are the ones who find the solutions. Whatever the challenge related to the complexity of the building, or no matter how demanding the work schedule, we have proven that we deliver on time and on budget. The needs of our customers are always first and foremost and we make every effort to meet them. For me, it is a pleasure to conclude an agreement with customers such as Michelin, MSL Logistics, Pepsi, Fan Courier, Sumproduct and many others. I believe that a key factor in our success is identifying the optimal balance between the client’s expectations and needs. We are always ready for even greater success, and I thank everyone for their trust.”
