Ceramic blocks manufacturer Cemacon has opened its third masonry factory. At the end of October, the company successfully completed the EUR 2 million investment project for the construction of the Evoceramic Liner Factory.

The new production capacity is located in the town of Recea, Salaj County, and is currently the largest lintels factory in Romania, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, being fully automated. The factory has a total area of 1,300 square meters and a storage platform of 8,000 square meters.

”As the prefabricated lintels market has grown considerably, and in Transylvania the share of their use is 80 percent over monolith liners, made directly on the site, the construction of a factory dedicated to this product was taken into account. This way, we have direct control over the quality of the lintels, ensuring the market requirements closely,” said Liviu Stoleru, general manager and chairman of the Board of Directors of Cemacon SA.

The Evoceramic liner is produced and marketed in lengths between 100 cm and 300 cm and together with Evoceramic ceramic blocks, it ensures the need and requirements of the consumer in terms of masonry solutions.
