Felix Craciunescu is PayPoint Romania’s new IT Director

PayPoint Romania, the leading cash payment and electronic top-up points operator in retail units, has announced the appointment of Felix Craciunescu as its new IT Director.

In this role, Felix is responsible for the development and impelementation of the company’s IT strategy, coordinating the entire activity of the department that includes: IT Research & Development, IT Systems Operations and Project Management. The IT division manages a wide variety of activities related to PayPoint’s operational and internal systems, its terminal network and transaction platform, the implementation of new solutions and payment schemes and ensuring project management.

Felix is a graduate of the Automation and Computers School in the Bucharest Polytechnic Institute and has taken part in several IT and leadership courses throughout his career. He started out as a software developer, and in 2000 he joined Edenred Romania as a software engineer. He spent 17 years there, moving up to the IT Operations Director role, and before he joined PayPoint he worked on an entrepreneurial project.
