World Class opens new club in Expo Business Park Bucharest as part of strategic expansion plan

World Class, the largest health and fitness network in Romania, opens a new club in Expo Business Park Bucharest. The move is part of the company’s strategic expansion plan and is aimed to bring the #BeHealthy concept closer to its current and prospective local clients.

The upward trend in the health and fitness industry, on a continent that is strongly dominated by the West in terms of health, wellness and fitness development, shows that Eastern Europe is on the right track and solutions emerging on the market have begun to harness their potential, the company said.

World Class Romania, the largest health and fitness network in the country, builds its expansion strategy based on the positive market dynamics, targeting by the end of 2018 more than 60.000 active subscribers in its 31 clubs, currently opened at national level. In addition, two new clubs will be opened this fall in Bucharest, World Class AfiTech and World Class Veranda, and another one, next year, in Cluj – World Class Record Park.

For 2019, World Class announces the opening of its 35th health & fitness club, World Class Expo Park, in a new office campus which will open in the second half of 2019 on the Bulevardul Expoziţiei, Bucharest. The location has been strategically chosen to be closer to a large number of Romanians who either work or live in the area, aiming to turn World Class into the third most important place in their lives, after home and work. The club will be in the Bronze category, will cover a generous area of ​​1,480 square meters and will include a functional training area, an aerobics studio, a cycling studio and group fitness classes. The club will be equipped with the latest and best performing fitness equipment and will comprise a strong team of dedicated instructors and personal trainers.

With this new opening, World Class covers an area where it does not have a strong presence and comes closer to Romanians, to empower the #BeHealthy Movement and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of an active life. Launched at the #BeHealthy Festival powered by World Class, the #BeHealthy Movement aims to create a strong community around an active and healthy life.

The 35th Club of the World Class health & fitness network becomes a new opportunity to be closer to more and more Romanians and attract them to the health benefits of an active lifestyle.

Expo Business Park is the main office project in the pipeline in Expozitiei area, northern Bucharest. The project is located at the junction of Expozitiei Boulevard with Aviator Popisteanu Street, at 450 meters from 1 Mai metro station.
