Telecom operator Vodafone Romania has opened a new customer service center in Pitesti city that will employ 150 people – students and graduates.
The center will work for both retail and corporate clients of Vodafone Romania and the hiring process will start this March.
Ana Alexe, director of Customer Operations at Vodafone Romania, says that the new center is another development in this business line, which has been growing in the past 20 years.
Vodafone Romania already operates several large-scale customer service centers in Bucharest, Brasov and Craiova and smaller centers in Iasi and Bacau cities.
At the end of 2016, Vodafone had over 9.54 million users (mobile internet, voice and Internet of Things), gaining 355,587 new users compared to the similar period of the 2015. In the last quarter of 2016, the revenues reached EUR 178.7 million, up 2.8 percent versus the same period of the previous year.
