Uber launches business profiles in Romania

Technology start-up Uber says it has launched on Friday in Romania a new profile option for users that pay for work-related rides. The business profiles alternative will allow the app users to get easier access to the invoices so the payments can be settled by the employers.

“The next step will be Uber for Business, a service for the business environment. This will allow a company to create an account and offer rides for employees, both in the country and abroad. For employees, this means that they will not have to pay for a ride and settle the payment, because the company will cover the costs directly,” said Nicoleta Schroeder, general manager, Uber Romania.

The latest update allows users in Romania to download fiscal documents after each ride and get reports on a weekly or monthly basis. In addition, the users will be able to set different bank accounts, for the business and personal profiles in the app so as to separate the payments.
